Dysfunctional breathing patterns from stress (fight or flight mode) feed the body’s environment for inflammation causing chronic pain. Chronic pain impacts your daily life, making it difficult to enjoy the simplest activities, work, and even your ability to relax. We understand the challenges that chronic pain can bring, we’ve been there ourselves. That’s why we created the Breathing Mojo self-care workshop to help you manage your pain and improve your quality of life.
You will learn the importance of the diaphragm in breathing and how it can affect your health. Dr. Perry will guide you through breathing techniques that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and calm your body. We teach you how to identify and release tension in your diaphragm. Tension in the diaphragm is the root cause of chronic pain.
This workshop is designed for all levels, whether you are new to breathing techniques or have been practicing for years. We offer a supportive and welcoming environment, where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences and learning from others who may be going through similar challenges.
The first step in changing how you breathe is the awareness that you need to change how you breathe. You cannot control something until you become aware of it. Here is your awareness moment: If you’re not breathing well, you cannot get well and stay well. Take a step towards controlling your pain.

Q – Is there a max capacity for this class?
A – Yes, enrollment to the course maxes out at 50 students max capacity.
Q – Will I be able to receive medical advice or personal recommendations based on my own health challenges?
A – We will be doing a question and answer portion in the class where we will answer general questions. Dr. Perry can speak in generalizations and give guidance based on the individual and how the educational materials in the discussion would apply. However, Dr. Perry cannot diagnose or treat, read lab tests, or recommend individuals’ supplements or medications.
Q – Will I receive a certificate for this course?
A – We send all participants a certificate of participation, approximately one week post the live event. Upon registration, please be sure to enter your name the way you’d like to see it printed on your certificate.
Q – Does this course qualify for CEUs (Continuing Education Credits)?
A –We do not offer or guarantee CEUs but we will provide a certificate of participation that you can use to petition your respective organization for credit. Organizations may or may not grant CEUS at their discretion.
